Lines open Mon - Fri; 08.30 to 17.30Certini Bicycle Company was established from the sheer love of all things cycling, way back in 2001. Conceived by 2 life long friends and with over 25 years of cycle trade experience, their goal was simply to share their huge passion and infectious enthusiasm for this sport directly to their customers.
Although Certini's previous website concentrated on the deal aspect of the business, the new site needed to appeal to the wider market. Everything from families to electric bikes to mountain bikes are all catered for in the stores.
The site needed to showcase the 4 physical stores-these are modern and well-presented shops which carry a wide choice and good depth of stock. The website needed convey Certini as an established bricks and mortar business, that's been around for over 15 years.
To promote the physical stores, our Click & Collect service is heavily featured throughout the website in call to actions. On the product page, the ability to "Check Store Availability" is a key component of the add to basket area.
Our SEO optimised, semantic Schema mark-up allows Google to understand data on the website — such as product pricing and reviews — which aids the SEO and discoverability of the Certini Cycles stores and website.
As the Certini account manager, Lewis has visited stores and Certini benefit from his extensive knowledge of our products and his experience within the cycling industry.
The combination of our expertise and the products arm Certini with the tools they need to succeed online.
Allowing product to be more discoverable and providing real-time stock positions to in-store inventory to customers is imperative to sustaining custom in the future. Certini is a great example of how a multi-store cycle retailer can use Click & Collect to improve revenue and footfall in their stores.
With smartphones overtaking tradition desktop PC web browsing on a global-level, the ability to display accurate stock positions online — with the ability to buy or reserve via Click & Collect — is imperative. Your customers want and need to know that if they visit your store for a particular item, that it's going to be in stock, now. Recent studies show that Click & Collect is the top alternative to home delivery and proved most popular with UK Customers.
